Helping T2 Tea land in Glasgow

Part of our remit with the wonderful folk at T2 Tea, is to help them shout about their new store openings and last week, we were up in bonnie Scotland to launch their 17th UK outlet on Glasgow’s Buchannan Street.

Ahead of time, we kicked off by landing a stack of product and tea brewing kit onto the desks of Scotland’s media (simply because the stunning T2 kit never fails to impress) by way of saying “see you soon”.

Next up we wanted to create a reason for passers by to pop in and check us out, so knowing as we do, that Glasgow has a thriving arts scene, we commissioned our own masterpiece in the form of a rather beautiful tea fountain, made using T2 tea cups and pots.

From there it was a case of taking it to the media. Our story went down a storm as we landed a spread of coverage announcing T2’s arrival with our fountain taking centre stage.

We dominated the City’s news outlets with two pieces on Glasgow Live, three stonking pieces in the Glasgow Evening Times and two in The Herald (the biggest news outlet in Glasgow).

From there, Scotland’s national outlets joined in with both The Scotsman and The Scottish Sun delivering stunning pieces for us.

Then once the store had thrown open it’s doors, we invited eleven key Glasgow-based influencers in for a series of tea masterclasses, introducing them to the rather wonderful world of proper, loose-leaf brewing.

We’re not done yet, as we have a few more tricks up our sleeve but I think it’s probably fair to say … Glasgow, a brewing revolution has arrived.
