When we were asked by Percy Nobleman to help showcase their new face and stubble moisturiser range, we figured we’d go all traditional.
As part of the brief was to build relationships between the brand and the media, we set about creating a traditional British barber shop set up in the heart of London.
Hiring a suite at the Charlotte Street Hotel, we kitted the room out and called on the services of Legends Barber Shop, one of London’s finest. Then we invited media to pop in for a trim, shave, prune, clip, crop, tidy or restyle, beard or hair. With Percy Nobleman products taking centre stage, naturally.
On the day, 15 key media were booked into back-to-back slots and were seen to by our barber in residence, leaving with a slick new look. Highlights included Men’s Health, COACH, Daily Star, Gay Times, Radio X, Absolute Radio and Square Mile.
Over half have already covered the new products, since the event last week and Percy Nobleman MD Freddy Furber made some new friends in the right places.
